You might initially think that downloading from the app store is all you will need to do, but there are a handful of additional files that begin only when you launch the game that seem to be causing sound issues.
Within that 700mb additional download package is a lot of the game’s audio files, so if you have got the Diablo Immortal no sound bug, the first thing to do is check if there is anything left to download. You should be prompted to download these when you first start up the game however, so it is hard to miss.
