Diablo Immortal Class Tier List: S Tier
The almost unanimous pick for the best class in Diablo Immortal is the Crusader. Being a melee class with a hybrid of damage types, the Crusader class is well equipped for most things Diablo Immortal will throw at them.
Furthermore, the key highlight of the Crusader class is the mix of AoE abilities and a large health pool. One of the most beneficial things you can do when fighting lots of monsters is to be able to take the heat and then disperse it, and there is no class better at doing that than the Crusader.
Finally, the ability to stun enemies is invaluable in PVP battles, as getting a momentary edge over your player-controlled opponent can prove to be the difference between victory and defeat.

Following close behind the Crusader class is the Demon Hunter, a class with clear weaknesses, but with strengths that far enough make up for it if you have the skill to utilise them.

One significant appeal of the Diablo Immortal Demon Hunter class is the absolutely insane amount of damage you can output. Not only are the ranged primary attacks always viable - especially from a safe distance - but the skills available to you have some of the highest damage potential in the entire game.
Traps also offer a clever space-making tool to manage your targets, allowing you to really pile on any monster unlucky enough to step in the wrong place. The Demon Hunter class is pure joy for anyone looking to wreak as much havoc as possible with little thought for anything else.
The biggest downside of the class, however - and what puts it just on the fringes of S tier - is the comparatively low health and lack of escape options. While you can output a massive amount of damage, what use is that if you’re constantly dead after getting caught in countless tricky situations with no recourse. Skilled players won’t find too much issue with this, however, which is what pushes the Demon Hunter from A into S tier.

Diablo Immortal Class Tier List: A Tier
Operating in a similar situation to the Demon Hunter, the Diablo Immortal Necromancer class sits right at the top of A in this Diablo Immortal class tier list.

If you play exclusively in PvE, this class probably shoots into the S tier, as it can output high amounts of damage, and also has the added support of the summons. These summons are able to tank a lot of damage and can be an exceptional backup to our already weighty damage platform.
What makes it miss out just slightly on S tier is the potential overreliance on summons, leaving you high and dry if you are without your reincarnated friends. Much like the Demon Hunter, the Necromancer has very little in the way of mobility so if it is just you on your own you can really struggle. Furthermore, the summons become rather irrelevant in PvP, meaning a large chunk of the Necromancer kit is rendered useless if you wish to approach that avenue of play.
One of the best classes for new players, the Diablo Immortal Barbarian class is perfect for people who just want to run through enemies without much thought otherwise. It offers the ability to simply mow through large groups of normal mobs with a mix of mobile, AoE, and channelling attacks.

Furthermore, it is a sturdy early game class too, meaning that players won’t have to think much about their health until at least the mid-game. It is from that point that the weaknesses of the class start to shine through though, as the damage starts to scale worse against stronger enemies, and you have to start thinking about your health and defence more.
It is still a great class for anyone wanting to take a more relaxed approach to the game, but is not the most optimised when it comes to efficiently fighting Diablo Immortal’s toughest bosses.
Rounding off the A tier classes is the Diablo Immortal Wizard class. Offering ranged damage, with combo potential if you can get your timings right, the Wizard class is a strong choice in the right hands.

Spells always have a place in games - especially ARPGs - through the sheer amount of things that you can do, and from a safe distance to boot. The Wizard class brings to the table ever-useful AoE spells to disperse and destroy, crowd control and stuns to disrupt, and one of the best escape skills in Teleport.
The tricky thing about the Wizard class that stops it from reaching the top of the Diablo Immortal class tier list is the relatively high skill floor required to play them. Much like the Demon Hunter, the Wizard has very little health, so you need to be on top of your positioning in hectic fights, but you also need to manage your abilities well. Due to the lengthy cooldowns attached to many of the abilities, Wizards who spam carelessly can be actionless very easily, rendering you useless in both team and solo situations.
If you can get on top of your cooldowns and truly master your skills, the Wizard can be a really good choice. Spells are just really fun to cast as well, which helps.

Diablo Immortal Class Tier List: B Tier
Sitting right at the bottom of the Diablo Immortal class tier list as the only B tier class is the Diablo Immortal Monk. While there are strictly no bad classes in Diablo Immortal, the Monk class clearly stands at the bottom as the weakest.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t be effective with it though. With strong combo potential and a heavy emphasis on mobility, you can be the force that enemies feel but cannot see as you speed around the arena hitting everyone and everything.
That does come with a trade-off though, as the Monk has very little health and fairly low damage that can cause you to be caught out rather often. If you can’t master your combos and use your movement skills to their fullest potential you will more often than not find yourself waiting to be revived instead of collecting some hard-earned treasure.
The Monk can be a fun class for experienced Diablo Immortal players wanting a new challenge, but it is something we would recommend you steer clear of otherwise for other stronger and easier to pick up playstyles.
So, that just about rounds up our Diablo Immortal class tier list. Let us know if you agree with our choices, but in the meantime why not check out this guide on the Diablo Immortal gems to further enhance your new builds.
