Best Vanguard Snipers: Kar98k

You probably saw this coming. The Kar98k is the people's champ when it comes to snipers, and with its solid damage, handling speed and aim has made sure that it earns its title.

You can get this weapon kitted out to the nines to make sure it fits your needs as a sniper, and it remains pretty versatile no matter the attachments you throw on it. The weapon is a powerhouse and one you'll have no trouble putting to good use.

Vanguard Best Snipers: 3-Line Rifle

This was a close pick. In all fairness, the 3-Line Rifle could be just as good as the Kar98k - however, the sheer pace of Vanguard doesn't make it easy to use. If this changes, or you're aiming to use a sniper in a game of Search & Destroy - this weapon could be your saving grace.

With a huge damage output that means a one-shot-kill in most scenarios, that makes up for its recoil and slow handling with sheer power. The 3-Line Rifle is one that will knock your enemies clean off their feet, and do damage that will shock you.

Vanguard Best Snipers: Type 99

Finally, the worst of the bunch but by no means a bad weapon, we finally have the Type 99. Its focus on speed and handling should, on paper, make this weapon the perfect sniper for the current pace of Vanguard, but it just can't handle the pressure.

The gun needs a lot to boost its damage to a reasonable degree, so once you've done that, get used to the sway of the attachments and you're left with a hard-hitting sniper rifle. There are worse weapons in the game and we'd recommend picking one of the other snipers, but this is our pick for the best attachments to use on the Type 99.
