Call Of Duty Vanguard Weapons: List Of All Confirmed Vanguard Guns
The Call of Duty Vanguard weapons list is almost entirely filled out. Vanguard features a slew of classic World War II guns, many of them being fan-favourites from previous Call of Duty titles. Despite the Call of Duty Vanguard release date still being some ways away, many of the weapons have already been confirmed through the Champion Hill alpha, the Call of Duty Vanguard beta, and various marketing materials like trailers.

Call of Duty Vanguard Weapons: Assault Rifles
A returning favourite from prior Call of Duty titles, the STG44 is a balanced all-around assault rifle (AR). The STG44 was featured in the Champion Hill alpha. This AR will be a popular choice among the Call of Duty Vanguard weapons based on its versatility and the fact that it is available at level one.
As the name suggests, the ITRA Burst is a burst-fire assault rifle. Unlocked at level ten, the ITRA Burst is solid at medium to long-range but underperforms at close range.
The BAR is a heavy assault rifle that deals extremely high damage per shot with the tradeoff of a low rate of fire. These attributes make the BAR a fearsome choice for long-range encounters but inadequate at close range. The BAR is unlocked at level 18.
The NZ-41 is a high-damage assault rifle. The downside of the NZ-41 is its extreme recoil. Players that can control their recoil will love the power behind this AR. The NZ-41 is unlocked at level 24.
The Volk is sort of an AR/SMG hybrid. This assault rifle has the fastest rate of fire in its class. Players that can put up with its lack of control and accuracy will dominate with this weapon at close ranges. This Call of Duty Vanguard weapon becomes available at level 30.
Call of Duty Vanguard Weapons: SMGs
Better known as the Thompson or the Tommy Gun, the M1928 is highlighted by its fast rate of fire and large magazine. The M1928’s potential is held back by its lack of control, long reload time, and low mobility.
The STEN is the most mobile primary weapon in the game. The STEN will be a favourite of players that love to run and gun. However, the STEN is held back by its weak damage output and lack of accuracy control.
An iconic weapon from the World War II era, the MP-40 is back in Vanguard. This all-around versatile SMG is the most balanced gun in its class and will likely be one of the meta Call of Duty Vanguard weapons when the game officially releases. Players will unlock the MP-40 at level 16.
Another classic World War II weapon, The PPSh-41 has a unique look to pair with its high fire rate and hefty magazine. This weapon is currently featured in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, so even new school Call of Duty players should be familiar with the PPSh-41.
The signature Japanese SMG of the era, the Type 100 is an SMG formidable at longer ranges. This Call of Duty Vanguard weapon may not be as dominant close-up as other weapons in its class but its versatility at range allows it to fill a special niche.
Call of Duty Vanguard Weapons: LMGs
The MG42 packs a ridiculous magazine size of 125 with the potential to hit 250 through equipping certain gun attachments. This gun excelled in the Vanguard alpha with its high rate of fire and solid handling. This Vanguard weapon may be the best LMG in the class.
Famous for its dinner plate aesthetics, the DP27 is the best LMG at long ranges. The DP27 deals high damage with great accuracy but its lacklustre sprint out time and overall mobility make it a poor choice for close-range encounters. The DP27 is unlocked for players at level 12.
The BREN is an accurate LMG capable of dealing high damage but the drawbacks of this Vanguard weapon are too much to ignore. The BREN has extreme recoil, low mobility, and a mere 30-round magazine. Vanguard players gain access to this gun at level 28.
Type 96 LMG
The Type 96 LMG is another Japanese weapon of the World War II era. The Type 96 is very accurate for an LMG and has a steady rate of fire to top it off.
Call of Duty Vanguard Weapons: Sniper Rifles
Also known as the Mosin Nagant, the 3-Line Rifle is a heavy sniper that comes with low mobility but one-shot kill potential. This Vanguard sniper rifle can one-shot kill almost anywhere on the body.
The Kar98k’s dominance in Warzone carries over into Vanguard. This sniper rifle is the go-to choice in almost all instances. Not as powerful as the 3-Line Rifle, the Kar98k’s overall versatility and added mobility make it a more well-rounded option. The Kar98k becomes available for use at level 26 in Vanguard.
Call of Duty Vanguard Weapons: Marksman Rifles
The M1 Garand fills a niche between an assault rifle and a sniper rifle. This Vanguard weapon can kill with just a couple of well-placed shots, but it’s hard to justify picking it over an automatic assault rifle or a scoped sniper rifle.
Call of Duty Vanguard Weapons: Shotguns
This is a semi-automatic shotgun with the potential to deal damage outside of the typical shotgun range. A decent choice against single targets, the Revolving Shotgun has an extended reload time that makes it incapable of taking on multiple enemies at once.
The Auto-Loading Shotgun is based on the Browning Auto-5. Unlocked at level 20, the Auto-Loading Shotgun can spam shells in rapid succession at very close ranges.
Call of Duty Vanguard Weapons: Pistols
A basic fully automatic pistol, the Machine Pistol is held back by its high recoil and small magazine.
The RATT can fire as fast as one can pull the trigger. This semi-automatic sidearm is available to players at level 14.
A standard semi-automatic sidearm, the 1911 pistol is a great tool for finishing off weak enemies and can be swapped to quickly in a pinch.
Call of Duty Vanguard Weapons: Melee
FS Fighting Knife
This combat knife can dismantle opponents quickly if the user is brave enough to get up close and personal.
Call of Duty Vanguard Weapons: Launchers
A great tool for taking out vehicles, the M1 Bazooka deals a high area of effect damage but reloads very slowly.
Similar to the M1 Bazooka, the Panzerschreck is slightly more powerful but also has a lengthy reload time. This Vanguard launcher is unlocked at level 28.
