The Callisto Protocol launched in late 2022 to mostly mixed reviews. Although most horror experts branded the game as unoriginal, at its core it was a scary, thrilling experience that you'll enjoy if you're looking for a quick horror game fix.

The Callisto Protocol is set within a prison on Jupiter's moon, Callisto. Playing as an unwilling protagonist, Jacob Lee 300 years into the future, you must escape the prison as inmates are mysteriously turned into savage creatures.

Platforms: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S

Dead Island 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the first instalment which released back in 2011. Luckily, you don’t need to play the first to understand the second as it holds as a stand-alone game.

Your adventures through 'HELL-A' is a hack'n'slash zombie experience set in the aptly named city, that revels in over-the-top gore and cheesy action lines.

The game feels very much like a mid-2000s release, but with the updated visuals of next-gen consoles gamers have come to expect. If you want a game that you can sink a few mindless zombie-hunting hours into, it’s a great option.

That rounds off our list of the latest and best deals for PS5 games you can currently find online. This list includes something for everyone, whether you need a new horror fix, are looking for some platforming fun or want to visit the latest hyped releases.
