Has everyone forgotten about Marvel's Midnight Suns already? We certainly hope not. The strategy-esque action battler is a total treat for fans of the extended Marvel Universe, and yet, it seems to have ducked under the radar just after launch.

It's a huge shame, too, as the legacy of Marvel games definitely needs to be bolstered, as their cultural standing was (perhaps unfairly) decimated by Marvel's Avengers.

So, it's especially frustrating that Marvel's Midnight Suns has the one mechanic that makes any game a 10/10, and yet, nobody putting it to use.

What's wrong with you lot? Midnight Suns has offered you the chance to pet the dog, and you've squandered it? For shame.

For context, Midnight Suns' Abbey has its very own hellhound, while the game offers players the chance to give them pets and scritches galore.

Yet, the beloved Charlie is being left out in the cold. Even if some players may have done it fleetingly, not enough are giving Charlie what she deserves.

On Reddit, u/Framnk said they're disappointed that most of you seem to have missed "The Best Girl" achievement. In fact, only 14.9% of you have found it.

To achieve the trophy, you have to pet Charlie at least once 15 days in a row. "Charlie deserves better," wrote one fan, while another added, "Charlie waited faithfully for her master for over 300 years. The least she deserves is a daily pet and dose of praise."

Some think it's not that easy, though. One gamer wrote, "I'm trying so hard to get this one and I swear I pet her multiple times every day and I'm on like day 55. I don't know how I've missed so many days apparently." Could a glitch be at play here?

Midnight Suns Players Don't Know How Good They've Got It

We've considered the impact that the "Can You Pet The Dog?"  Twitter account has had on video game development at large, and even though it has spread its wings across the whole industry, players of Midnight Suns clearly don't respect what they have.

Games like Hades let you pet the dog, you can pet the mechanical dog in Destiny 2, and let's not forget how you could even pet the dog gun in Call of Duty. It's not just dogs, as Ghost of Tsushima makes you pet a whole host of furry friends

Even presented with the best dog in the Marvel universe (except maybe Cosmo, who is a real champion), players can't even bring themselves to give Charlie all of the pets they can manage. So, to you fools refusing to pet her, we have but one thing to say to you - sort it out. Be better.
