Even though we've known for a while that die-hard The Witcher fan and lead actor Henry Cavill won't be back as Geralt of Rivia in Season 4, the prospect of seeing the stone-cold monster hunter change faces in Season 4 still seems daunting.

Cavill's exit from the Netflix series has sparked scepticism about how the fourth season will play out, and with his future Superman ventures also given the boot, fans are hoping that he's not left any kryptonite in the shoes of Liam Hemsworth's Geralt costume.

If you are still worried about how Hemsworth will fare in the footsteps of Cavill, a new deepfake has turned the Australian hunk into the white-haired black-eyed protagonist, giving you a first glimpse of what Season 4 of The Witcher could look like.

Fan-Made Deepfake Shows Liam Hemsworth's Geralt of Rivia

If you couldn't wait to see Hemsworth dolled up to the nines with the iconic Legolas-like hair and the smouldering Geralt glares - for better or for worse - YouTuber stryder HD has now warped his face into some of Geralt's best scenes.

The side-by-side comparisons shows each actor's portrayal and has Geraltsworth chat with other protagonists like Ciri, Jaskier, and Vesemi - showing just what we will be set to see more of come 2024.

While it looks a little weird to see Geralt with a new look and without some of the war-torn definition in his face (which will be added in the real version) Hemsworth certainly looks a good fit to help move the legendary character's story forward.

Liam Hemsworth's Geralt of Rivia Will Be 'Different'

With Cavill out from riding Roach into the next creepy-critter encounter, the writers are planning quite the exit for his character. But this appears to summarise why the actor left his role, given that he loves the source material so much, with Season 4 taking Geralt on a different personality path.

"Geralt has a new mission in mind when we come back to him in season four. He's a slightly different Geralt than we expected," said The Witcher (series) Creator Lauren Schmidt Hissrich back in September.

The double-sided jibe to a "different" Geralt will see the character not only sport a new look through Hemsworth but a different character arc too. Geralt will be straying away from the neutral morality he has strived to uphold so far.

Cavill's last appearance as Geralt of Rivia will come in the next few months, as The Witcher Season 3 prepares to air this summer.
