Players in the gaming community often stem from more convoluted backgrounds than it may seem. The stereotypical gamer lacks in physical strength, although this concept is more than often proven to be nothing more than malarkey.

For example, Lannan "LazarBeam" Eacott, who rose to fame in the electronic world through being one of the leading talents and entertainers during the Fortnite craze wave, was actually a construction labourer before focusing on content creation.

The notion of his roots has now been eternally captured within Fortnite, as he joined an elite group of content creators who line up in the Icon Series. Alongside Richard Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, Kathleen "Loserfruit" Belsten, Lachlan "Lachlan" Ross Power, and David "TheGrefg" Cánovas Martínez, LazarBeam has been gifted his own in-game skin that is a just reward for his contributions to the title.

After teasing its drop yesterday, LazarBeam revealed his skin, which took many by surprise. Opting for a much more simplistic design in comparison to the likes of Lachlan's reactive lightning outfit, Lazar's wrap is a construction worker as a reminder to where he came from.

"Fortnite meant so much to me, so I had to do something special with my skin, and to do that I wanted to honour where I came from. Six years ago I was working on a job site. I used to work in the dirt a long time ago and now I build on Fortnite. I was a tradey [tradesman], an Australian construction worker, my family are all tradeys, that's what I was always going to do and why I left school at 15. It was why I fell asleep in English", before reiterating "I just wanted to honour where I came from".

Alongside the tradesman's outfit, Lazar's skin will also come with an emote named "Lunch Break", a Sledgehammer pickaxe, and a miniature Gingerbread Man Back Bling.

The skin lands on March 4, and will likely range between 1,800 - 2,200 V-Bucks, akin to the previous bundles within the Fortnite Icon Series.
