Scump, Formal, And Karma Reform The OpTic Dynasty For WSOW
In the reliable words of Jack "Courage" Dunlop: "the curse has been broken. The dynasty has been cemented. They are the greatest roster in Call of Duty history!"
The OpTic Gaming dynasty is not only the best roster that Call of Duty esports has ever seen, but they're also the reason that many thousands of fans fell in love with the game.
With 18 major championships, a record 10 consecutive grand final appearances, and a World Championship ring, the OpTic Gaming dynasty will forever be recognised for shaping Call of Duty into the game it is today.
The partnership of Seth "Scump" Abner and Matthew "FormaL" Piper continue to fly the flag for the Green Wall to this day, whilst the other half of the Infinite Warfare world championship-winning side have gone their separate ways. Ian "Crimsix" Porter has switched allegiances to Dallas Empire and Damon "Karma" Barlow has since retired, although a reunion with the latter is on the cards.
OpTic Dynasty Reformed For World Series of Warzone
Speaking on an OpTic podcast, CEO Hector "H3CZ" Rodriguez announced that Karma will be joining the OpTic duo in competing yet again, as the three will combine to make a formidable trio in the World Series of Warzone.
The Warzone squad only permits trios, meaning any thoughts of reuniting the whole roster is impossible, and it's likely that Crimsix will be deployed as a Dallas Empire star in the series.
Karma, who has recently joined the organisation as a content creator has been spending his hours in Verdansk, with FormaL admitting that his teammate is "nasty" in Warzone at the moment.
WORLD SERIES OF WARZONE TEAMS
Alongside the OpTic trio, another retired star is coming out of the works in the New York Subliners' World Series of Warzone team. Recently retired Thomas "ZooMaa" Paparatto has revealed that he will be reigniting his competitive flame by teaming with James "Clayster" Eubanks and Asim "Asim" Obaid.
CDL casting duo of Clint "Maven" Evans and Joe "MerK" Deluca have also revealed that they can enter their own squad, as they will be the official commentators of the event.
As for any other squads, Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag has said he intends to play, although it is unclear as to whether he will have his own squad or play under the LA Thieves banner.
The World Series of Warzone is set to kick off on June 23.
