Maximising a specific stat on a Warzone weapon can be a brilliant way to create a truly top-tier or even "broken" loadout.

In the past, we've seen setups with blistering TTKs and laser beam rifles that have virtually no recoil at all ranges.

This time though, WhosImmortal has discovered a Marksmen Rifle with the best bullet velocity in Battle Royale.

Its velocity is so absurdly high, that the bullets immediately hit their target from across the map with near-zero travel time.

"Hitscan" MCW 6.8 has the highest possible bullet velocity in Warzone

  • Muzzle: Nilsound 90
  • Barrel: Tempus Predator Precision Barrel
  • Optic: CORIO Eagleseye 2.5x
  • Magazine: 60 Round Drum
  • Ammunition: 6.8 Wrath Spire Point Rounds

The MCW 6.8's bullet velocity with the build above is so high that it has to be seen to be believed. Clocking in at unreal 2083ms, this loadout blows any competition out of the water from a velocity perspective.

This results in a "hitscan" Marksman Rifle, where the projectiles hit the target as soon as they're fired, making it extremely difficult to run to cover.

If that wasn't enough, WhosImmortal has given the gun plenty of firepower with the Nilsound 90 and Tempus Predator Precision Barrel. The CORIO Eagleseye 2.5x, just to round it off, means you'll be farming headshots at long range.

Finally, the 6.8 Wrath Spire Point Rounds are where most of the velocity comes from, offering a massive 50% bonus.

How popular is the MCW 6.8 in Warzone?

Sorry, there has been an issue in subscribing to the newsletter.

According to WZStats, the MCW 6.8 has a rather low 0.27% pick rate in Season 3, putting it below a lot of MW2 guns, let alone its MW3 counterparts.

While the loadout above is a little strange and will take some time to master, having access to 2000ms worth of bullet velocity will help you massively in BR.

So, if you're looking for an off-meta setup with the potential to fry, look no further - you've found what you're looking for.
