Players Think Warzone’s Portnova Skin Is The New ‘Roze’
The legacy of the Roze skin is one splattered with dismay. Its arrival brought a new wave of almost-cheating across the board for Warzone, camouflaging players into their darkened surroundings with a muddy colour palette and giving paying players a tactical advantage.
The ‘pay-to-win’ tactic shook the meta of the game and made it very clear to many players that they’d have to fork out if they wanted to win their games, and Raven Software’s reluctance to remove the skin implied that they don’t really think it’s that big a deal. But now, a new fighter has entered the ring - and it has the chance to be even worse than the Roze skin.

Warzone Fans Call Hypersonic Skin ‘Roze 2.0’
A new skin for the character Portnova has been revealed, and fans aren’t too keen on it. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with the skin itself - in fact, it’s pretty sweet. The trouble is its colour palette - it relies very heavily on dark colours with Portnova’s bright orange hair obscured by a flight mask and visor. Many fans have grown concerned that the dark colours, the very thing that made the Roze skin so effective in clinging to the shadows, are coming to the game once again in the shape of the Hypersonic Skin.
As you can expect, fans aren’t exactly excited about the announcement of the skin coming to the game in the next update - but fear not, as it looks like the skin might not be as elusive as we’d have thought.
Is The Hypersonic Skin As Bad As The Roze Skin?
Many may have expected the Hypersonic to be just as hard to spot in a game as Roze - but thankfully, that doesn’t look to be the case. The Twitter account ModernWarzone has reported that some players have got their hands on the skin early and have been positioned in darker areas - and it looks like the skin is a little more reflective than Roze, making it not quite as difficult to spot as the notorious skin.
Thankfully the skin is looking to be a fair addition to the game, and while it might be closer to the Roze skin than any other in the game so far, it’s not quite as sneaky, which is always a positive.
