Feedback from the Modern Warfare 3 Beta may have been positive, but there was one major problem that kept popping up over and over again.

We're of course talking about the spawns, and while improvements have been made by Sledgehammer, they're still far from perfect.

While in the Beta it was Domination fans who claimed the mode was unplayable, but this time it's Hardpoint that's being affected at the game's full release.

In response, the devs have taken instant action, but it has meant that a set of fan-favorite maps have had to be disabled.

Quarry, Rundown, & Scrapyard disabled from Hardpoint in MW3

Taking to Twitter on November 9, Call of Duty revealed that Quarry, Rundown, and Scrapyard have been temporarily removed from Hardpoint playlists.

This is due to an issue that's causing "unfavorable spawns" which is making it extremely difficult to compete in the mode.

Clips have been posted online showing entire teams spawning in front of opponents, effectively granting them countless free kills in an instant.

This may be fun for the player mowing down the enemies, but it's certainly less entertaining for those who are stuck in a never-ending death loop.

Do we know when the maps will return in MW3?

Price MW3 next to plane

No, we don't have any updates from Sledgehammer on how long it's going to take them to fix the issue. Currently, it's listed on their Trello board as a problem they're "investigating," so it's likely they're allocating a lot of resources to get it resolved as soon as possible.

Disabling fan-favorite maps on day one is not a good look, especially with so much of the community motivated to grind and level up.

Let's hope this gets fixed soon, so Hardpoint fans can jump back onto Scrapyard, Rundown, and Quarry.
