As far as Call of Duty goes, is shooting people with meta guns getting a little bit boring?

It's all a bit tedious, grabbing your MCW, loading it into Hardpoint, and making the same rotations over and over again. So how about adding some flavour to the mix?

That's the call from Modern Warfare 3 fans this week, as the game is crying out for some spicy game modes to make a fiesta with.

So far, the only party game in Modern Warfare 3 is Gun Game (and Infected if you can't that), which is rather basic compared to titles gone by.

Now, players are rallying to get some more popular mash-up modes that have provided endless nights of fun in years gone by, starting with Prop Hunt.

Taking to Reddit, one fan posted "Prop Hunt is one of my favourite modes but I have to download WW2 to play Prop Hunt or Cold War. [Please] bring it back I know I’m not alone on this!"

"Prop Hunt was amazing. I’m hopeful the next cod game will make better use of it," another fan added.

MW3 fans eye a complete party playlist

Prop Hunt isn't the only party game that people want to see either, as there could be a whole catalogue of fun and indifferent ways to play the currently mundane title.

Other fans also called for the likes of Sticks and Stones, Double Agent, and One in the Chamber, all of which could be compiled into a party playlist.

Prop Hunt is usually a game mode that is used in Black Ops games though, such as Cold War, and might be being held back until next year as Treyarch plans to put their signature stamp on the Call of Duty series again.

Still, there's plenty more to be added to MW3 through the live service model, so why not throw us a bone and a couple of laughs?
