LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is right around the corner, and we can't wait for it.

Though the Lego Game experience has transformed since it first appeared on consoles, its refinements more than make up for the big changes that might scare away hayday fans, and as it seems right now, the new game could be the ultimate LEGO Star Wars experience. No pressure, then.

The game collates the events of the entire Skywalker Saga of Star Wars movies, and as such will be crammed to bursting with characters, locations, ships, and cameos. The game looks like a delight for long-time fans of the franchise, but it looks like it's not ready to simply stop with the films, as we're getting some DLC on day one that's going to please a lot of fans.

Even before the game has launched, we have confirmation that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is getting some extra character DLC, and it's drawing from all corners of Star Wars canon.

First will come a character pack based on The Mandalorian season one, followed by packs for Solo, a collection of classic characters, and a trooper pack. On a later date there will be a pack based on Rogue One, and later still will be packs featuring characters from The Mandalorian season two and The Bad Batch.
