Ask any Call of Duty fan what the worst bug or glitch they've found in the game is, and your answer will be something devastating and game-ending. From the franchise's origins in multiplayer modes, little frustrations have always been packaged in what developers missed in coding.

Warzone is arguably the worst of the bunch, dishing out game-breaking alterations that truly decimate the game's experience. But now, it's the battle royale's little brother that's in trouble, with one Modern Warfare 3 glitch robbing players of their kills.

New MW3 glitch won't let you kill other players

What am I supposed to do, then? Play the objective? A new Modern Warfare 3 glitch is keeping players from doing the only thing they actually want to do - kill other players.

The glitch is a bizarre one, and one that practically gaslights you into presuming the problem is with your controller. When you aim down the sights, your vision jerks upwards and brings the weapon with you. It gives no chance of actually firing at the player you've aimed at in the first place.

It's bringing chaos to MW3, and it's safe to say that players are having some serious trouble with the glitch.

Players have taken to the comments of the Reddit post sharing a video of the glitch - and they've revealed that this is a frustratingly common issue.

"This happens from time to time for me too," says one. "Sometimes like right when I spawn and I am not even moving my right stick yet. Different than stick drift for sure."

"All the damn time! I made a post and got flamed for it," reads another comment. "I used the same controller for other games and no problem with it." At the time of writing, Sledgehammer Games has yet to acknowledge its existence and there's no mention of it on the CoDUpdates Twitter account.

It seems that many players in the replies have reported dealing with the issue after spawning, and it's an issue that's going to need tidying up ASAP. After all, how can we expect to get through a Team Deathmatch while we're all firing into the stratosphere?
