While a lot of Apex Legends players are satisfied taking on enemy squads in pubs, others are desperate for a more competitive experience.

Luckily, that's where Ranked comes into play, giving the community a chance to test their skills against opponents of a similar level.

Only the highest-skilled players ever reach the Predator rank, but for FURIA pro Jacob "HisWattson" McMillin, even that became too easy.

HisWattson hits Apex Legends Predator using no armour

To elevate the difficulty even further, the talented competitor decided to climb from Rookie to Predator using no armour. On April 7, HisWattson announced that he'd completed his Rookie to Predator Ranked climb using no armour.

Incredibly, the pro managed to hit the milestone after just 182 matches, which in total, totalled around 47 hours of in-game time. The rules of the challenge meant he had to drop his armour while flying down from the jumpship, then spend the rest of the game fighting with just the standard health bar.

Wattson even streamed every single game during the climb and reached a peak viewer count on Twitch of over 11,000.

Will HisWattson do another Apex Legends Ranked challenge?

This isn't the first time Wattson has shocked the community with a seemingly impossible feat, as the pro completed a Rookie to Masters sniper-only challenge back in January.

No doubt he has more impressive goals in mind for the future, as hitting Predator with no restrictions is just too easy for him.

However, after failing to reach the ALGS Split 1 LAN event in London, it's also possible Wattson will be focusing all his attention on FURIA and their performances in Split 2.
