Silent Hill: The Short Message is available to play right now on PlayStation 5, expanding the franchise more than ever. This spin-off is set in present-day Germany and follows a young woman called Anita.

The first-person title sees Anita explore a haunting locale known as The Villa, while the use of her phone suggests it'll be a technologically advanced title. Even though the history of Silent Hill spin-offs is something of a troubled tale, this has enough intrigue to make us give it a go.

As we wait patiently for the Silent Hill 2 remake, at least we can fill out time playing this one. Either way, Silent Hill: The Short Message is available to play right now.
