The T-800 is saying "come with me if you want to live" as Fortnite has just teased its next big skin. We're only just getting to grips with jumping off the Battle Bus and unlocking the Predator as a "secret" Battle Pass skin, however, that growling alien could soon be joined by another terrifying presence.

Ever since we got our first look at Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 and the return of Agent Jonesy, it was clear Epic Games wasn't going to be resting on its laurels with the reinvigorated player base from its Marvel-themed Season 4.

With Jonesy trying to track down characters escaping their loop, he needs all the help he can get, leading to the Season 5's overall theme of recruiting hunters from the wide world of pop culture. Things kicked off with Din Djarin from The Mandalorian as part of the Battle Pass, while the first in-shop skin saw God of War's Kratos swing his Leviathan Axe.

The Predator skin was teased at the start of December, while there were also whispers of a Fortnite Terminator skin. Now, it looks like we're one step closer to suiting up as that stoic cyborg.

What is the Fortnite Terminator skin?

Ahead of each new skin's release, there's been some sort of tease out there in Fortnite. Just like we had Predator's pod crash-land in Stealthy Stronghold, devs seem to be setting up the arrival of the Terminator (and another familiar face). Fans might remember when The Walking Dead's Daryl and Michonne were cued up by a mysterious portal appearing in-game. Now, notable Fortnite leaker HYPEX has jumped inside the next portal and teased the arrival of Terminator and Sarah Connor.

Inside the portal, it looks like a recreation of a scene from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which is arguably the most famous entry in the franchise when it blasted a hole in the box office in 1991. There's no other information to go off, and no actual look at what the Fortnite Terminator skin could look like, but remember, we've seen him added to Mortal Kombat 11 alongside Image Comics' Spawn and DC Comics' Joker.

When could we see the Fortnite Terminator skin?

Terminator has been teased for a while now, meaning we presumably aren't too far off his arrival. Much like Daryl and Michonne, the fact Terminator and Sarah Connor are being teased via a portal suggests they will be able to buy in the shop instead of unlocked through a quest like Predator. As for what the skin(s) will look like, we're expecting a classic Arnold Schwarzenegger-style look with half-robotic face and glowing red eye.

Although Sarah Connor isn't quite as iconic as the Terminator in terms of skin capabilities, she's become an action hero in her own right and is up there with Alien's Ellen Ripley, Resident Evil's Alice, and Kill Bill's the Bride as a hardened action heroine. Connor has appeared in almost every Terminator movie and even had her own TV series, meaning she's been played by Linda Hamilton, Emilia Clarke, and Lena Headey. We're hoping a Fortnite Sarah Connor skin would include Hamilton's iconic tank top and shades look from Judgment Day.

The Battle Pass is continuing to find its stride, with a Terminator tease coming just days after Tomb Raider's Lara Croft was teased as another late addition. Either way, we'll "be back" for more as Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 continues to dole out the hunters.
