Fans have been desperate for remakes of the Sinnoh region Pokemon games, and the announcement of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl excited a lot of long-time fans of the franchise. But, so far, we’ve only got a short trailer to inform us of what to expect from the game in all its chibi glory. Some fans have been deterred by the games’ cutesy art styles, but one fan has found a remedy for this.

The video showing off an all-new Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remake concept is by YouTuber Millenniumloops, who has adopted the style of Pokemon Sword and Shield to develop a whole new idea of the Sinnoh region. The impressively fleshed-out video shows off some sections that wouldn’t go amiss in a Pokemon title; deep-sea diving, sprawling gardens and mountain-climbing adorn the fan trailer.

It also features some intriguing details yet to appear in a Pokemon title, that would go down an absolute treat with fans. Most notably, adorning Pokeballs with stickers and particle effects in the Pokeshop is an addition that’d make fans go nuts, letting you decorate the home of your favourite Pokemon. It comes with some enhanced clothing options too, allowing the player to put clothing on Pokemon. The video shows off a Garchomp with a bell around its neck, and it looks dashing.

The rest of the video boasts some intense Pokemon battles, an intense elite four and exciting encounter with the legendary beast Giratina. The video ends with a title reveal of Pokemon Adventures: Sinnoh, and it looks as flashy as any real game would. The video might only be a concept, but it looks fantastic enough to make us desperately want a game with a similar design.

Fingers crossed the video gives Nintendo some ideas, because the Pokemon Adventures series could have the potential to fire some life back into the franchise.
