An extremely talented modder has remastered Fallout 4, and it looks incredible.

The effect of a next-gen version of the game was achieved with an eye-watering 205 mods, reports TheGamer, which is nothing less than incredibly impressive.

YouTuber Ded String has shared a nine minute and 51 seconds video of how it looks, and as a result achieved over 150,000 views. The like/dislike ratio is also indicative of how good this looks, with almost two thousand upvotes, compared to a meagre 125 dislikes.

What Does The Fallout 4 Remaster Look Like?

Well, it looks great. But don't take our word for it, check out the YouTube video below for the full experience of exactly how much effort went into this labour of love.

What Do Fans Think Of The Fallout 4 Remaster?

Underneath the YouTube upload, one fan wrote: "Feels like Ghost Recon: Fallout Warfare". Another added: "I like how it looks all grown over like it should if two hundred years have passed. Watching the video gave me the feel of being out in the forest. Have been playing Fallout 4 on PS4 with just the official Bethesda add ons. Getting a new laptop in about a month though and will be looking at the Wilderness and London DLC. There was another labeled Seattle something or other and that one looked interesting too".

However, one person was less than impressed, saying: "It looks like a generic shooter. Pretty impressive modding though. It's not a fallout game anymore though that's for sure".

The person behind the remaster, Ded String, has very kindly shared all of the mods used for the above remaster, just in case you'd like a crack at it yourself. You can find these on Modwatch. In the meantime, Bethesda has already warned there's going to be a huge wait until The Elder Scrolls 6, so we dread to think how long it will be until Fallout 5
