Dr Disrespect Reveals What He’d Change About The Warzone Map
Herschel “Dr Disrespect” Beahn is no stranger to what we’ll call ‘constructive criticism’ of Warzone. The professional streamer and two-time champ, despite arguably earning his career through the Call of Duty battle royale title, has plenty to say about the state of the game.
Of course, the game has its problems, but it’s always Dr Disrespect who’s the first to mention it. He recently slammed the latest additions to the game claiming that they made Warzone “The worst solo battle royale experience to date”, and now, he has some thoughts on the fundamental gameplay, and what needs to change.
Dr Disrespect Suggests Change To Warzone Map
Once again during a stream, Dr Disrespect airs his complaints about Warzone, still insisting that the game is the worst among battle royale experiences. After suggesting that even PUBG was better, a viewer suggests that he should rather than grow further frustrated with Verdansk, he should just play the Rebirth Island game modes and forget about Verdansk entirely. He seemed to have an entirely different idea.
“Rebirth is lit? I don’t know, man”, he starts. “It’s cool, it’s cool. I wish they’d just include Rebirth Island in Warzone and kind of put it in a nice spot. Almost like… I don’t know. Maybe at the bottom of the dam? In the middle of the river? I don’t know.”
The addition of Rebirth Island to Verdansk might spice up gameplay a little, and perhaps the addition of boats to get to and from it would add a new degree of manoeuvrability to the game mode that’d keep things exciting for a while, but it’s hard to see a world where that fixes the many fundamental problems that Dr Disrespect has with Warzone.
Maybe he’s grasping at straws for fixes to the game - and we relate. The game is in desperate need of a balanced injection of fun, and it needs it ASAP. And it seems like Dr Disrespect is the first to recognise it.
