The majority of players in Modern Warfare 3 fixate on one stat, and that's time-to-kill or the outright power of their weapon. While this is undeniably important, your damage output is meaningless if you're not hitting the target consistently in-game.

As a result, sometimes it's better to prioritise stability over anything else, especially if you're someone who struggles to control recoil at long range.

Well, MW3 guru WhosImmortal has the ultimate solution, identifying a laser "beam" AR loadout that makes landing headshots an absolute breeze.

  • Underbarrel: Chewk Angled Grip

Throughout the MW3 Beta, the MCW was incredibly dominant and was by far the best choice ahead of release. Since then, the weapon has been overshadowed by the powerful Holger 556. Now it's been nerfed, there's room for the MCW to shine again.

With almost zero recoil, the deadly AR is a laser "beam" at long range and makes short work of any foe in your scope. The lack of kickback means you can really focus on getting those important headshot multipliers that make the TTK absolutely absurd.

Overall, this "easy to use" rifle is a top-tier choice in the pre-season, and with WhosImmortal's endorsement, you can't go wrong.

According to WZStats, the MCW has an extremely impressive 7.1% pick rate in Modern Warfare 3. This puts it near the top of the pack, and with the Holger 556 getting hit with nerfs on November 21, it could take the crown.

Only time will tell, but if you're in the market for low-recoil AR that will always deliver in long-range gunfights, the MCW has to be on your loadout list.
