It's fair to say that Call of Duty weapon camos have evolved a lot since the days of Urban, Blue Tiger, Red Tiger, the iconic Fall. As a whole, gun skins in Moder Warfare 3 and Warzone are significantly flashier, with the likes of Interstellar and Ghoulie featuring moving effects.

While eye-catching cosmetics are usually the most popular with the community, it is possible for a camo to be too bright and dazzling. Well, that's certainly the case for the Royal Tiger camo, which is being flamed by players for blinding whoever has it equipped.

MW3 fans slam Royal Tiger camo for hurting their eyes

As showcased by LegoUnlocked, there's a brand-new exclusive camo available in Modern Warfare 3 called Royal Tiger. This $60 skin can only be obtained by purchasing the Call of Duty Task Force 141 bag from the online CoD store.

After clips of the camo began to circulate, the community began roasting how bright the skin looks in-game, effectively making it "pay to lose."

"Ahh yes for those who want to be spotted first from anywhere on the map… good good," joked one user, with another arguing, "Why would I want to pay $70 to get a skin that essentially flash bangs me every time I ADS."

As the cosmetic is locked behind such a hefty price tag and is such a distraction, it's being slammed as a "robbery." However, there's clearly a lot of demand for the camo and the bag as they're no longer possible to obtain.

Can you still get the Royal Tiger camo in MW3?

Sadly, you can no longer obtain the Royal Tiger camo in MW3, as the bag has already sold out on the Call of Duty store. Although the skin is getting a huge amount of hate and backlash, it hasn't stopped fans from instantly purchasing the entire stock.

Bright or not, this is going to be a pretty rare skin in CoD for the future, especially if the devs decide not to re-release it as a paid cosmetic. As for the complaints, let's hope Sledgehammer can tone down the brightness a touch as, at the moment, you're putting yourself at a massive disadvantage using it.
