They're a bit like the marmite of Call of Duty, you either hate them, or you hate them a bit more.

But there are some players out there who just like to watch the world burn, and using Shotguns is just the way to watch steam erupt from players' ears.

Now, get ready to see every player in the lobby have heads like a red kettle, as the JAK Maglift Aftermarket Part kit just got a brutal buff, making it absolutely 'broken'.

The JAK Maglift Kit is used on the Haymaker Shotgun and takes the "doof doof" meta to whole new heights with a drum mag consisting of 50 rounds of painstaking pellets.

But after a new update to Modern Warfare 3, the already blistering weapon has now had a buff to its fire rate, significantly, and players are finding it hysterical.

Taking to Reddit in a post labelled "They just buffed the Jak Maglift Amp... Huh??", one player was found in balls of painful laughter, scratching his head as to "why have they buffed it".

After being tried and tested, some players have even found themselves posting up personal records, highlighting just how broken the buff is.

"It is so insanely broken. I broke my kill record first game using it," said one user.

"Dear god, I am happy to not play multiplayer after getting interstellar... seeing this [reminds] me [of] the KV Broadside time in mw2 haha I am not going through this terror again," added another fan.

It does look like there is a tiny respite for players, as the incendiary rounds (a.k.a Dragon Breath) have been removed from the kit, but that won't stop you from breathing smoke when you come across this on your next Shipment outing.
