Rest in pieces to all of the hard drives out there that are trying to make a living. Hard drives around the globe are waking up at 6pm every night for their eight-hour shifts where they're completely swamped by Modern Warfare updates. Well, they may want to get a hard drive union put together, as their workload is about to get much, much heavier.

Black Ops Cold War is on the horizon, and Activision has saved no expense when cramming a detailed Campaign, a revitalised Zombies timeline, a rustic Multiplayer experience, and a Warzone crossover all onto one disk.

Launching on November 13, Black Ops Cold War is set to take up to 250GB of storage space for the initial download, as revealed by Activision themselves. The developers released a visual which shows the PC specifications required to run the game efficiently. Within the hard drive space required, Activision state that a minimum of 175GB will be required to host all game modes on (Multiplayer, Campaign, Zombies, and Warzone), with 250GB needed if you want to achieve a high frame-per-second rate on a 4K Resolution monitor with Ray Tracing.

A full list of PC specifications can be seen below.

Activision has also confirmed that Warzone will not be ready to launch on Black Ops Cold War until at least December, meaning that players will need to keep the free-to-play version of Warzone on their hard drives as well as to dive into the depths of Miami on Black Ops Cold War.

Players will be glad to know that they will be able to remove Modern Warfare from their hard drives, with just the free-to-play Warzone needed to drop into Verdansk.

Giddy up hard drives, this year is going to one hell of a ride for you.
