Black Ops Cold War Glitch Is Making Operators Naked

Activision's Call of Duty is hardly a family-friendly affair thanks to its graphic content of warfare, assassinations, and zombies, but now, one crazy glitch is making it a little more X-rated than usual. Only recently Cyberpunk 2077 has been grabbing headlines for its intended nudity that allows players to customise literally every part of their character - leading to some *erm* well-endowed creations. Now, CoD has taken a leaf out of Cyberpunk's book with a Black Ops Cold War naked Operators glitch.

While we're used to dropping into Cold War's multiplayer in a variety of different outfits as Operators, there's a new bug that's stripping them down, shaving their heads, and leaving them with just some black underwear to hide their modesty. If you've dropped in for a match, there's a chance you might've seen these half-naked Operators running around the map.

Black Ops Cold War Naked Operators Glitch: What is it?

Adding to the odd look, Operators also have their eyes plucked out to be left with empty, black, sockets. Seriously, it's like something from a Conjuring movie. At the moment, we don't know how many players are being affected, and which Operators it's linked to, but it's definitely out there. Both male and female Operators are being struck by the glitch, meaning there are some bizarre scenes.

The issue first popped up in the lobby, then quickly spread to the main game. We're not sure whether it's linked to console, PC, or both. It's also unclear whether it's a genuine glitch or hackers messing around inside Cold War. Although Treyarch and Activision haven't commented on naked Operators yet, there's a chance developers don't know because it's a relatively minor glitch. Seeing naked Operators isn't exactly a game-breaking addition to Cold War - just a little creepy. We'd advise you probably wear actual clothes if you plan on running into the middle of a battlefield.

Hopefully, the Black Ops Cold War naked Operators glitch won't be making the move over to Warzone. We're just days away from the integration between Cold War and Warzone. Alongside the introduction of the Alcatraz-inspired Rebirth Island, there's the one-eyed Vikhor “Stitch” Kuzmin. He's scary enough as is without being stripped down to his unmentionables.

Elsewhere, Cyberpunk 2077 players were being hit with an even "bigger" X-rated glitch that sees genitalia popping out through people's clothing. Yikes, and you thought CoD had it bad. Still, we imagine Cold War's Operators are a little chilly right now. Won't somebody think of the children? Hopefully, devs will give Operators their modesty back.
