A Quidditch game is coming, and it’s not in Hogwarts Legacy
While Hogwarts Legacy has been out for a hot minute now - and many fans have concluded their Wizarding World adventure - there are others only just beginning to find out what's in store for them in the hallowed halls of the famed school.
That's not to say that there aren't some things missing, as there are some omissions that have confused long-time fans. Most notable among them is the absence of Quidditch, the iconic sport that fans were hoping to engage in with the arrival of Hogwarts Legacy.
It never showed, and it frustrated a lot of players, but it looks like we finally know why. Quidditch is seemingly MIA from Hogwarts Legacy because there's a whole other game in the works.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is taking signups
Click to enlargeWell, that shot out of the blue. It looks like your hopes of becoming a Quidditch pro aren't done just yet, as a brand-new game focussing on the sport has just been revealed.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions was unceremoniously revealed in a tweet from Warner Bros Games, sharing a short teaser trailer advertising the ongoing playtests, which have just appeared online.
"Calling all Beaters, Chasers, Keepers and Seekers!" reads the tweet. "Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions limited playtest signups are live now!"
With this being the very first we've heard of the game, it's certainly a surprise, especially as the last game with a Quidditch focus was Quidditch World Cup on the PS2.
Quidditch Champions has nothing to do with Hogwarts Legacy

This new title is being developed by Warner Bros Games, Unbroken Studios and Portkey Games, with an entirely new art style. It's a strange surprise to spring on players, especially as Harry Potter is such a massive franchise - but gamers will be happy to see it regardless.
