If you’ve been searching Hello Kitty Island but aren’t sure where to get the Volcanic Guitar in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, this guide will tell you everything you need to know so that you can get the Volcanic Guitar. This is one of the best gifts you can give to Retsuko in the game. 

Be prepared, because the journey is scorching, and will take you on a long journey. Make sure you have your fishing rod prepared!

How can you get the Volcanic Guitar?

To get the Volcanic Guitar in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, you’ll first have to make sure you have a fishing rod and know how to fish. If you don’t already know, this can be taught to you by Badzt-Maru on the pier. This is available once you reach friendship level 3 with him. 

Once you know how to do this, you have to climb up to Mount Hothead.

  • Enter the mountain through the Caldera entrance
  • Take a right, and start climbing up the wall
  • There, you’ll find a cliff that has a small lava pool. Jump off of this, and you’ll float past with your balloons to the southeast
  • Climb up the wall when you get to it, and then follow the path that goes to the south
  • There, you’ll find a lava river. This is where you’ll want to start fishing

It may take some time, but eventually, you’ll be able to fish up the Volcanic Guitar. 

Volcanic Guitar Recipe

There is also a recipe for this guitar that you can obtain later on in the game. You can obtain this by speaking with Tophat and levelling up your friendship with them. You will need to get your friendship to level 3 with them in order to obtain this recipe. To make the Volcanic Guitar, you need the following materials:

  • 3 Ingots
  • 3 Sparks
  • 3 Mechanisms

Once you have the guitar, you then have to complete the Red Hot Ruins puzzle in Mount Caldera, where you can then meet Retsuko and give them the guitar.
