How To Save The Quarry Nick: Some Things Cannot Be Avoided

A perfect example of that is Nick, the unlucky lad who is first to face the nightmares of Hackett’s Quarry. While talking to Abi in the woods, they will be attacked by a werewolf. Nick will be bitten, there is no way to change that.
During these sequences, you will be playing mostly as Abi. As outlined in how to save Abigail in The Quarry, your best bet for keeping people alive is to have Abi be kind to Nick, even when he is starting to act strange. The process of turning into a werewolf has some nasty side effects and turns Nick into an equally nasty person. When he starts to transform, shoot him as Abi. This will ensure that when he does fully turn into a werewolf, he will run off in fear.

How To Save The Quarry Nick: Don’t Put Him Down
Click to enlargeThe next time we see Nick, he will be in a cage under the Hackett House. Jacob will be locked up beside him, then later Ryan and Laura will find them both. In the interest of getting Nick out of this situation alive, do not let Laura kill him. She will try to, as she has silver-laced ammo. Prevent her from doing that, and if possible do not feed Jacob to Nick. Leave Nick in the cage, as he will be safe there for now.
Later, Kaitlyn and Dylan will be attacked by a werewolf at the lodge. There are a few ways to deal with it, as described in how to save Kaitlyn in The Quarry, the best way to do so is to lock the werewolf in the freezer. You will need to deal with that werewolf one way or another.
Locking it in the freezer means that when the White Wolf is dead or the morning comes, Caleb will return to human form and die in the freezer. Regardless, this will also break the curse on Nick, who Caleb bit. This is the only way to help Nick not only survive the night and also break the curse on him.
