In one of the more unconventional gaming updates of the year, Street Fighter 6 is receiving a crossover with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, with a huge haul of TMNT content on the way.

No strangers to fighting games, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have appeared in several unexpected iterations, including as DLC fighters in Injustice 2.

The green machines have had their own gaming resurgence with the recent releases of the Cowabunga Collection and Shredder's Revenge.

Here, we’ll break down everything we know so far about the TMNT crossover in Street Fighter 6, including what to expect and when to expect it in the game. Read on for more.

When is the TMNT crossover?

The TMNT crossover in Street Fighter 6 will be available on August 8, 2023. In a tweet released by Capcom, they’ve advised players to “scarf down that slice of pizza” to help prepare for the event.

At the time of writing, it is unknown whether this will be a limited-time event, but we'll update this page as soon as we have more information.

What is included in the crossover?

In the TMNT crossover in Street Fighter 6, you can expect to find an assortment of in-game goodies for any lover of the heroes in a half-shell, including:

  • Accessories for custom fighters, including the iconic Turtle coloured masks
  • Camera frames for Photo Mode
  • Costumes of Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo and Raphael to turn your World Tour avatar into one of the Turtles
  • Device wallpapers
  • Emotes
  • Stamps
