The latest Sims DLCs, the Book Nook and Grunge Revival Kits, are now available in The Sims 4 - so here's everything you need to know about them.

With over 20 Kits currently in the game, there are already plenty of offerings for this smallest DLC type for The Sims 4 available, and it doesn't look like that's stopping anytime soon. Bringing grungy styles and stackable bookcases to Sims' worlds, let's break down when the packs released and their price, along with the new items for the CAS/Build/Buy modes for The Sims 4 Book Nook and Grunge Revival Kits.

When did The Sims 4 Book Nook and Grunge Revival Kits release?

Both the Book Nook and Grunge Revival Kits for The Sims 4 released on June 1, 2023, on Mac, PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

As is typical of all previous Kit releases for The Sims 4 so far, the Grunge Revival and Book Nook Kits are available to purchase for $4.99/£4.99.

Prior to release, through the promotional images shared on The Sims' official Twitter account, we already had a great idea of what CAS and Build/Buy items would be available for Simmers with Book Nook and Grunge Revival. 

The Sims' website details that these items feature "unpolished, effortlessly cool looks to captivating oases of literary delight". From "nonconforming grunge-inspired styles" to "plush window seating, stackable bookshelves and cushy sofas with soft, relaxing accents".

With the two Kits now released, check out the images below for a rundown of which items you can expect to add to your game with the DLCs:

That's not all, though, as the Sims dev team is very well-known for providing lots of item recolours for Simmers to pick from - so there are likely plenty of colourway variants we can use in our games, too (we can already spot a couple in the promotional images)!
