How to find Roaring Moon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Roaring Moon, a Past Paradox Pokemon, is one of the most sought-after in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. A prehistoric version of Salamence, this dual Dark-and-Dragon Type features not only an eye-catching sleek-yet-monstrous design but also very high Attack and Speed stats. However, Roaring Moon can be hard to find. Let's get into the Roaring Moon location in Scarlet and Violet.
Where is Roaring Moon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
The only location where Roaring Moon can be found is in Area Zero in Pokemon Scarlet. Since it's a version exclusive, you will need to trade from Scarlet if you want to get Roaring Moon in Pokemon Violet. Specifically, in Area Zero, you need to follow a few certain steps.

Click to enlargeFirstly, you need to teleport to Research Station 2, go outside, and turn right. As pictured above on the left, you need to go down the slope, go past the waterfall, and straight ahead over the river.
Once you're over the river, look for a tree on the left, and the rocks behind it. Look around until you see the subtly hidden entrance pictured above on the right. This will take you to the cave that is the only Roaring Moon location in all of Paldea.

Roaring Moon Location in the Cave
Click to enlargeAmongst the various Pokemon in the hidden cave, Roaring Moon is the rarest spawn. There is no need to worry, though.
If you cannot spot a Roaring Moon after exploring the cave, simply leave the cave, go back into the nearby Research Station, come back out, re-enter the cave, and look amongst the respawns. After one or two attempts, a Roaring Moon should eventually appear.
Roaring Moon's catch rate is higher than normal Pokemon. Still, if you have plenty of Ultra-Balls, Dusk Balls, perhaps use Paralysis-inflicting moves like Thunder Wave, and use False Swipe to get its health down to one HP, catching Roaring Moon should be pretty easy.
