Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is filled with tricky puzzles, and one of which is the water wheel riddle. You will come across this puzzle while completing the first main quest, Lost in Mount Qaf, and it is essential to crack it to proceed further in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

If you’re having a hard time solving this water wheel puzzle in the game, worry not, as we’ve got you covered with this comprehensive Prince of Persia guide.

How to solve the Prince of Persia The Lost Crown water wheel puzzle

The primary objective of this puzzle is to rotate the giant water wheel using the pressure plates and activate all three levers in the room, which ultimately unlock the door to the Hyrcanian Forest. For a better understanding, I’m going to divide this Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown guide into three stages.

Stage 1: First lever

First of all, you will find two pressure plates on the floor. When you stand on them, the giant water wheel will rotate. To get started, jump onto the first pole, push your left stick up, and then grab the second pole.

The final step of this stage is to jump on the wall and activate the lever by using the attack button. I suggest you gain a little momentum and go around a couple of times, which makes it easier.

Stage 2: Second lever

The next step is to stand on the pressure plates to rotate the water wheel so the poles are in the East and South directions.

Once you arrange them in the correct position, go all the way up to the top and hit the lever to complete the second stage.

Stage 3: Third lever

The final stage is a bit tricky, but if you pay close attention, it’s a piece of cake. To start, stand on the right pressure plate and rotate the smaller wheel until the pole is in the North direction.

Now, stand on the left pressure plate and rotate the giant wheel until the two poles are in the East and South directions, just like in the previous stage. You can take a look at the above image to position both wheels correctly.

The final step is to jump all the way across and pull that lever down to activate the third lever on the wall. That’s it. The door will now unlock, and you can head to the Hyrcanian Forest.
