Aside from building, gunplay has always been a cornerstone of Fortnite. The brand-new LEGO Fortnite mode is crawling with monsters, and there are a wide variety of weapons you can use to defeat these critters, but can you get guns like the Heavy Sniper or the Drum Gun?

This primer details all the weapons in LEGO Fortnite and whether or not you can use your favourite guns from battle royale in this block-building mode.

Can you get guns in LEGO Fortnite?

The short answer is no, you can't get guns in LEGO Fortnite. As enticing as it may sound to blow things up with a Rocket Launcher or mow down foes with a Minigun, the guns you're used to looting in the classic battle royale mode are not available in LEGO Fortnite.

LEGO Fortnite does have combat, but the focus is on exploring and creating with friends. In fact, the only projectile-based weapon you'll find in LEGO Fortnite is the Recurve Crossbow.
