Kibble is a food item that is used to tame creatures and increase their affinity toward you. It comes in various qualities, which correspond to different creatures, with better Kibble typically used to tame bigger and more powerful creatures. The Kibble tiers are Basic, Simple, Regular, Superior, Exceptional, and Extraordinary. 

You can technically use any Kibble for taming any creature, but using the wrong type will take longer as it's less effective, which can also cause the tamed animal to have lower stats that then they would with the optimal Kibble.
