Honkai Star Rail Beta: How To Sign Up
With the second Honkai Star Rail closed beta wrapping up, fans are left questioning when the next beta and eventual release date will be. Developers HoYoverse has conducted two closed beta tests so far, with a select few participants chosen to try the sci-fi RPG for themselves. With a release date unconfirmed as of yet, the Genshin Impact studio has released a stream of information surrounding new characters and worlds available to explore through the beta tests. Honkai Star Rail Beta Sign Up
The most recent Honkai Star Rail closed beta commenced from May 25 to June 15, 2022. This is the second closed beta HoYoverse has conducted since the game’s announcement and is unlikely to be the last. If you missed the opportunity, stay tuned for further updates on future beta testing opportunities.

Through the recent May-June beta, we have seen released gameplay that shows a slight step away from traditional Genshin Impact combat. Honkai Star Rail will follow a turn-based combat system more akin to the Final Fantasy franchise. Character roles will play just as an important part, however, with several character announcements having already been unveiled by HoYoverse, much to the excitement of fans. Characters feature similar special abilities to that of Genshin Impact characters, with a focus on special attack abilities and a strong anime art style. With leaked beta footage we can also see signs of daily and weekly boss challenges that players will be able to participate in for rewards. Set in a vibrant sci-fi setting, it's sure to be quite the palette cleanser for long-time fans of the Genshin Impact franchise.
