With the recent announcement of the new Harry Potter Quidditch Champions game, many players have been left wanting to find out more information.

While Quidditch was surprisingly absent from the previous Wizarding World game Hogwarts Legacy, there is now a whole title dedicated to the airborne sport in the works.

So, check out the rest of this guide below to find out everything we know so far about Harry Potter Quidditch Champions, including playtest signup details and more.

As the name suggests, Harry Potter Quidditch Champions is a game based on the fictional broomstick-based sport from the wizarding series. It is the second quidditch-focused title after Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup on PlayStation 2, and is a completely standalone experience.

According to the FAQ for the game, Quidditch Champions features both the sport and 'other broomstick adventures', which could amount to training, races, and other flying escapades.

Furthermore, the game will also include a competitive multiplayer mode to play with your friends and potentially other random players too, so who knows, we might see quidditch esports in the near future.

It is unclear how much single-player content the game will have at this current time, as it appears that competitive multiplayer is the focus for the developers. We will make sure to let you know when any new details drop regarding this though, so stay tuned.

Do we know the Harry Potter Quidditch Champions platforms?

The developers of Harry Potter Quidditch Champions have confirmed that the game will be released on PC.

It's also been teased that the game will be released on select consoles, although the exact consoles haven't been confirmed yet. PC is obviously rather set in stone, and the only question there would be about any storefront exclusivities.

On the topic of consoles though, the big concern here is the availability of a previous-gen version for either PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. We have already seen the delay to the previous-gen versions of Hogwarts Legacy, so Quidditch Champions could potentially prove to be a next-gen exclusive title.
