Will Genshin Impact release on Nintendo Switch?
Genshin Impact is one of the most popular ARPGs around, but we're still waiting for the game to be released on Nintendo Switch. Below we'll look into whether or not we can expect the game to ever arrive on the popular Nintendo handheld, or if it will be skipping out on the console altogether.
The game was first released in 2020 and can be played on consoles, PC, and mobile. It is an open-world, free-to-play game with plenty of fans all over the world, so let's dive into whether we can expect the game to arrive on Switch anytime soon.

This free-to-play action-adventure RPG is currently available on PC (through Windows and the Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, iOS and Android.

Will Genshin Impact release on Switch?
It was previously confirmed that Genshin Impact will be coming to Nintendo Switch, but there's no concrete release date yet and it's been a while since we've heard any news.
Speaking to GoNintendo in an interview in May 2022, the Genshin Impact team said:
“The Switch version is still in development, and we will release more information as we progress further along.”
We know that there have been a few delays caused by the pandemic and the lockdown in Shanghai specifically, with plenty of other patches receiving multiple delays. So this may also be the reason that a release date for the Switch hasn’t been committed to yet, but that was a while ago now.
There was also a trailer announcing it was going to arrive on the console, which can be seen above, but this was in 2021 and we have heard very little since. Hopefully, there will be more news regarding one of the most popular ARPGs coming to Switch soon.
