Recent datamining leaks have suggested that Su from Honkai Impact 3rd may be coming to Genshin Impact in a future update. Genshin Impact has previously taken close inspiration from Honkai Impact 3rd characters, mainly being Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko. As both titles are developed by the HoYoverse studios, a cross-over is possible, although nothing official has been confirmed yet. For information on the Su Honkai Impact leak, read on.

Twitter user SpendYourPrimos has been known to reveal leaks previously. This time suggesting that Honkai Impact 3rd character Su will be included in the new Sumeru expansion which will finally introduce the Dendro Archon and Sumeru region to the game.

 

Who is Su in Honkai Impact 3rd?

In Honkai Impact 3rd, Su is a Fusion Warrior featured in the game and Manga series of the same title.  Su was once a scientist 5,000 years ago for Fire Moth, an ancient organisation in Honkai Impact 3rd, tasked with preserving mankind. Fans have made the connection that Su was known for creating a bubble universe named the Seed of Sumeru, coincidentally sharing the same name as the next key region due to release in Genshin Impact.

Given his scientific background, fans have speculated if Su will be part of the Sumeru Academia staff. The Academia is legendary across Teyvat for being a centre of learning in history and the arcane arts. Notably Mondstadt librarian Lisa, was once a celebrated student there but left for mysterious and unknown reasons.

Whilst this is an unconfirmed leak, previous connections between the two titles have been made before with a cameo of Dvalin shown during a cutscene in Honkai Impact 3rd’s Chapter 17 and subsequently confirmed by developers.  Stay tuned for further updates to the story and new character announcements.
