Fortnite x Doctor Who event pass, item shop cosmetics, map changes, weapons & more

Fortnite is collaborating with Doctor Who in a massive crossover. Going off of leaks from prominent Fortnite dataminers, this collaboration will feature tons of cosmetics, an Event Pass, new weapons and map changes, and more! This primer will detail what you can expect from the upcoming Fortnite x Doctor Who crossover.

Fortnite x Doctor Who: Release date

The Fortnite x Doctor Who crossover doesn't have an official release date yet, but reputable Fortnite dataminers believe that the collaboration will occur by November 2023 at the latest.

Fortnite x Doctor Who: Event Pass

The Fortnite x Doctor Who collaboration event will include an in-depth Event Pass loaded with themed cosmetics that you can earn for free by completing U.N.I.T quests. The U.N.I.T quests revolve around detecting Residual Energy and gathering Intel.

Included in the Event Pass are several Level Up Tokens and accessory cosmetics like a Loading Screen, Wrap, Glider, Emoticon, Spray, Banner, Emote, and Back Bling. You can get these items for free in the Event Pass, but the cosmetics are expected to come to the Item Shop at a later date.

While you'll have an opportunity to earn some Fortnite x Doctor Who cosmetics for free, the core items will appear in the Item Shop. Below is a list of the Fortnite x Doctor Who cosmetics that'll cost V-Bucks:

• Fourteenth Doctor Skin
• Fifteenth Doctor Skin
• Tardis Glider
• Psychic Paper Emote
• Sonic Staff Harvesting Tool
• Dalek Manipulator Arm Harvesting Tool

You can purchase these items individually in the Item Shop or in Fortnite x Doctor Who Bundles.

• Fortnite x Doctor Who rivals Fortnite x Dragon Ball in terms of content.

Fortnite x Doctor Who: Map changes

The Fortnite x Doctor Who crossover will alter the Battle Royale Island. Look for U.N.I.T Outposts to pop up along the highways and roads of the Island. Inside U.N.I.T Outposts, you will find interactable objects tied to the U.N.I.T quests. Furthermore, there's talk of a Meep Star Cruiser for players to discover.

Fortnite x Doctor Who: Weapons

This Fortnite collab will introduce a couple of brand-new weapons into the loot pool. The first is called the Wrath Warrior, a Hand Cannon with a "Hold-to-Hurt" mechanic. The second Fortnite x Doctor Who weapon is the U.N.I.T Advanced Rifle, featuring player-tracking. 

• Future Fortnite weapons will be hard-pressed to compete with the likes of the Fortnite ODM Gear and Fortnite Kinetic Blade.

Fortnite x Doctor Who: Creative Map

When you get tired of Battle Royale, you can open the Discover tab and check out the Fortnite x Doctor Who Creative map. This experience will take you on a journey between several planets with the Tardis as your navigator. Additionally, the Fortnite x Doctor Who Creative Island will feature voice acting and a Spray you can earn for free by playing on it.
