All we know about Fortnite x Star Wars 2024, including the start date
Epic Games and Disney have a well-established partnership, and it's about time for another Fortnite x Star Wars crossover.
This year's festivities are set to begin right around the famed Star Wars Day. Based on everything we know so far from teasers and leaks, it looks like there'll be a lot to get into when the game's next collab begins!
Release Date
Fortnite's next Star Wars collaboration will officially kick off on May 3, 2024, a day before Star Wars Day.
This is also the day that the current Avatar crossover event is scheduled to end.
Battle Royale
Fortnite's classic Battle Royale mode will get the bulk of the Star Wars content. Rumours and leaks suggest we'll be getting new weapons, skins, and cosmetics, as well as the return of Lightsabers in the loot pool.
If the 2024 version of this crossover event is anything like the ones in previous years, we might even get an Event Pass complete with Quests! While not a whole lot is confirmed yet, Epic will no doubt have some surprises up its sleeves for Star Wars fans.
Weapons
From May 3, 2024, until the end of the Fortnite x Star Wars 2024 crossover, expect to find familiar weapons in Battle Royale, including Lightsabers, Blaster Rifles, and the Force abilities will probably be back, too!
There'll likely also be brand-new weapons to experiment with, with leakers hinting at the signature Bowcaster of the Wookiees.
Cosmetics
You can bet that during the event's festivities, the Item Shop will remain stocked with a variety of Star Wars-themed goodies.
While you presumably won't be able to grab any of the Battle Pass-exclusive Star Wars cosmetics like the Darth Vader, Darth Maul, or Ahsoka Tano skins, anything that made its debut in the Item Shop, like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, will almost certainly return for Fortnite x Star Wars 2024.
If you've already collected everything related to Star Wars, you'll be happy to hear that a Chewbacca skin and a General Leia Organa skin are rumoured to be part of this year's offerings.
LEGO Fortnite
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like LEGO Fortnite is getting any significant Star Wars-themed content, but many of the Star Wars Outfits are receiving LEGO Styles!

The Fortnite Festival account on X (previously known as Twitter) teased a Cantina Band Jam Track, and we might get a Duel of the Fates Jam Track, too.
Rocket Racing
Fortnite's community of leakers seem to believe that a Star Wars-themed car and track will make an appearance in Rocket Racing as part of Fortnite x Star Wars 2024.
