How to get Magneto skin in Fortnite & release date explained
If you’re excited to get your hands on the Magneto skin in Fortnite Season 5 Chapter 3, then I’m here to break down when the iconic X-Men villain releases in the game and how you'll be able to unlock it.
In a season that's got a Fallout crossover alongside some significant map changes and an assortment of unvaulted weapons, Magneto is the latest mid-season Battle Pass skin that Marvel fans can look forward to.
How to get the Magneto skin in Fortnite
To get the Magneto skin in Fortnite, you’ll need to purchase the Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass and complete themed challenges to unlock it later on in the season - which is something a few Fortnite fans aren't too happy about.
This was also the case with Solid Snake and Korra from the previous seasons. While we don’t know the rest of the rewards that will drop with the Magneto skin just yet, those previous characters arrived with back blings, emotes, and more, so we'll probably see a similar occurrence with Magneto.
One thing we do know is that Magneto will also come with a LEGO variant, meaning you can bring the iconic villain into your LEGO worlds to wreak havoc there too.
When does the Magneto skin release?

Assuming you own the Battle Pass for this season, you’ll need to complete a set of Magneto challenges that will go live on this day so that you can work toward getting the skin.
Once the season is over, you won’t be able to get Magneto in the free-to-play shooter for the foreseeable, so make sure you grab the skin before the season ends.
