If you're looking forward to Exoprimal, you may be wondering if the game will support crossplay or cross-platform progression. Crossplay is a huge part of modern gaming, and it’s getting to a point where it is almost an expectation that you should be able to play with anyone, regardless of the platform.

Exoprimal is a third-person shooter that will see players squad up to take on hordes of dinosaurs in a bid to survive. It’s a pretty high concept, but if the game feels good to play, the only thing you’re going to need is some people to play with - and maybe some snacks.

The other thing we will really need to know is whether or not progress will be shared across different platforms, so we will dive into this below.

  • Be sure to read our Exoprimal preview, so you can know If shooting dinos is for you.

Yes, Exoprimal will have crossplay at launch, so you can play with whoever you want regardless of platform. For crossplay to work you, will need to have a Capcom account set up to add players on other platforms.

Matchmaking will also be across the previous generation of consoles too, so you can play with pretty much anyone regardless of their hardware.

Unfortunately, there is no mention of cross-progression regarding Exoprimal just yet. We hope it will be included, but considering we are so close to the release and that there is no information, it doesn’t look likely. We will keep this article updated once we have a definitive answer following the game's release.

That is everything we know so far about whether or not crossplay will be included when Exoprimal drops soon, as well as if the game will feature cross-progression.
