Blaidd is one of the most interesting NPCs you will meet in Elden Ring. He is a giant, wolf-like man with a massive sword, which more or less confirms that he is Elden Ring's equivalent of Guts from Berserk.

He, among a handful of others, is part of a long and important questline that spans much of the game. So far, here is everything we know about Blaidd in Elden Ring.

Where can you meet Blaid?

In the east of Limgrave, there is a forest known as the Mistwood. While passing through it, you might have heard the howling of a wolf coming from the Mistwood Ruins. If you are there and hear the howling, look way up to the top of the ruins.

You will see Blaidd standing up there, but you cannot reach him. Instead, go speak to the merchant Kale, in the Church of Elleh. He knows Blaidd, and will give you a gesture to use to summon him.

Return to this Mistwood Ruins and perform the Finger Snap gesture. Blaidd will leap down to the ground on the north side of the ruins, and now you can speak with him. He will tell you he is seeking a man named Dariwill, who he says deserves death.

Dariwill is a boss in an evergaol, to the south of the Mistwood. Head to the Forlorn Hound Evergaol, enter and defeat Dariwill. Don’t worry if you have already done this, regardless of when it is done, Blaidd will meet you here afterwards. He says if you are ever in the north of Liurnia, mention his name to a large blacksmith.

The place in north Liurnia that Blaidd was referring to, is Caria Manor. On the way to the manor, you will meet Smithing Master Iji, a giant blacksmith who spends his days reading and doing some light smithing.

He tells you that Caria Manor lies ahead and warns you off from going there. It is a dangerous place, protected by ancient magics. So naturally, that is where you need to go next.

When you have explored and cleared out Caria Manor, you can head to the Three Sisters towers in the northwest and speak with Ranni the Witch. This will begin her questline regarding Nokron, which ties in with Blaidd. She will summon Blaidd, so speak to him downstairs. He then wants you to meet him down near Siofra River.

If you have not yet been to Siofra River, start by heading to the Mistwood in Limgrave. On the east side of the forest, you will find the Siofra River Well. Go inside and take the elevator down. Follow the path through the area to the next elevator, then from there proceed ahead until you reach the Siofra River Bank site of grace.

Go east to the cliff, then follow it north to find Blaidd standing on an outcrop. Talk to him, and he will send you to Seluvis back at the Three Sisters for more information.

Seluvis will tell you to talk to Sellen. Speak with Sellen at the Waypoint Ruins in Limgrave, and she will tell you the key to getting to Nokron is Radahn, so your next task is to defeat him. This will take you to Redmane Castle, where you, Blaidd, and others must take part in the Festival of War. This is how you access the Starscourge Radahn boss fight, so it is a crucial part of the game.

That is it for this particular questline but there is more to this Wolf’s story, specifically how it ties in with Ranni's story. To continue these quests, you'll need to beat the main boss of Liurnia as well. For tips on that, check out Elden Ring Rennala Boss Fight: How To Beat Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon.
