All EA FC 24 Thunderstruck Black Friday players, from Ronaldinho to Cruyff

Following on from FC Pro Live is another new promo in EA FC 24, taking the form of 'Thunderstruck' during Black Friday - and there's an abundance of huge players to celebrate this holiday season like Johan Cruyff and Ronaldinho.
What's more is that each card included in this Ultimate Team event is live, and given the opportunity to upgrade at least two times depending on the performance of their real-life team. This makes already excellent cards even better and turns this brilliant promo into probably the best we have seen in the game so far.

As you can see, there is a huge selection of top players on offer, and combining this with all of the returning promo cards could see some players getting very lucky.
Click to enlargeAs a Liverpool fan, I am sad to see no players included, although I was treated well with the trio in TOTW 10. I've certainly got my eyes on Xabi Alonso though, and any number of the other outstanding players that have been included here.
Thunderstruck player upgrade path explained
Thunderstruck is a live promo, as each card has the potential to earn boosts and upgrades depending on how their team plays in their upcoming matches. The men's cards and women's cards follow a different upgrade patch as shown below:
- Men’s upgrade path
- 1 win in the next 4 games = +1 IF Upgrade
- 2 win in the next 4 games = +2 Regular PlayStyles
- 3 wins in the next 4 games = +1 IF Upgrade
- Women’s upgrade path:
- 1 win in the next 3 games = +1 IF Upgrade
- 2 win in the next 3 games = +2 Regular Playstyles and +1 IF Upgrade
- Icon upgrade patch:
- 1 win in 4 games = +1 Regular PlayStyle
- 3 wins in 4 games = +1 IF Upgrade
I know what you’re thinking - the Icons don’t even play anymore, so how will they get upgrades? EA has taken this into consideration and assigned each Icon a real-life club that they used to play for, so they will upgrade if and when that team does well. For example, Gerd Müller is assigned to Bayern Munich, and Thierry Henry with Arsenal.
