You can change the settings to make the game as simple or as complex as you like with there even being a controller setting that reduces all the controls to just one button.

In this guide, we will break down all of the best controller settings in EA FC 24, as well as the other settings that accompany them like what to do with timed finishing and the vibrations.

The below settings are what we believe are the best settings to use in any game mode on EA FC 24. First things first is where you need to go to change these settings.

  • Go to the Settings in the top left corner
  • Now go to Settings again
  • Here you will have the options for customising controls and Game Settings

Customise Controls

First off, with customised controls, you will want to use either Classic or Alternate. They offer the most in-depth options, the only difference is the shoot and cross button is switched depending on what you choose. Alternate is what the PES games traditionally use, and still remains a very popular controller configuration.

Once you have your controller configuration down, the Game Settings screen will really allow you to get into the nitty-gritty, customising your experience completely. There are also presets in here you can choose from, which will do some of the legwork for you. If you are playing online, this will automatically be set to Competitive, so you don't really have a choice here.
