Baldur's Gate 3 PS5 release date: Launch time & preload details

Baldur’s Gate 3 is set to release for PS5 on September 6. This will be when the game can be played by PS5 players after having to wait even longer. Whether you buy the game physically or digitally, the game releases at the same time. However, if you do buy Baldur’s Gate 3 digitally you can preload the game before release.

The PS5 version of Baldur’s Gate 3 will be available to preload on PS5 from August 31. Preload is available from 5:00 pm BST / 4:00 pm UTC / PST 9:00 pm / ET 12:00 pm.

Can you play Baldur’s Gate 3 early on PS5?

Yes, you can play Baldur’s Gate 3 early if you pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game. By pre-ordering this version of the game, players can begin playing 72 hours earlier than the release.
