All Hallow's Eve is a new quest in Fallout 4, and it was introduced as part of the next-gen update for the game. These quests give new weapons or settlement items, and this one has some fancy Halloween-themed items to unlock.

If you need a full guide for this particular quest in the game, you've certainly come to the right place! I've got tips on how to start it as well as the password solution further down this page.

How to start All Hallow's Eve

Before you can start the quest, you need to download the latest update for Fallout 4.

When you've done that you should get the quest right away as soon as you load in to your save (as long as you have enough progress in the game). Simply select it from your list of quests to start tracking it.

The quest will tell you to "Investigate the mysterious signal". This step was glitched for me so I had to head straight to the quest location, Harbormaster Hotel, which I've taken a screenshot of below.

Go inside the Harbormaster Hotel to start the quest. You'll need to deal with some raiders outside first. After going inside, take an immediate left to find some doors leading to the New England Technocrat Society. This is where the quest properly starts.

When you enter this part of the building you'll immediately be attacked by ghouls, and gas will start to fill the room. These are feral ghouls, not Walton Goggins-style ghouls, so take them out while avoiding the gas if you can.

Eventually, the Legendary enemy Mr. Wendt will spawn. Kill him along with the rest of the ghouls.

After defeating all the ghouls, head down a nearby hallway towards the quest marker. You'll come across a door at the end of the hall, and a keypad next to it.

What's the password for the door?

The door requires a password. If you want to search for the password you can, but since you're here I'll just tell you:

  • 4 3 4 6

If you enter this code the door will open and you'll almost be done with the quest.

In this final room, just head to the terminal and select "Disable AI Control System". This will disable the gas. You can also select "Unlock Safe" to open a wall to the right of the terminal with extra stuff to loot.

Lastly, pick up the magazine "Picket Fences Halloween Special" next to the terminal. This will unlock all kinds of Halloween-themed items and decorations for your settlements!
