Another day, another discussion about Warzone cheaters. It doesn’t really stop, does it? The battle royale title has become known for its massive cheating problem, bringing about bugs that have been exploited to no end by its players. From the stim glitch to wallhacks, the game simply can’t shed hackers - despite their many attempts.

And now, fans are asking for a change to the game’s reporting system so that it’s easier to catch out these hackers.

Warzone Fans Beg For Change To ‘Report’ Function

Players are voicing their frustration with the report feature in Warzone, insisting that it doesn’t do nearly enough to keep cheaters out of the game. The CODwarzone subreddit was set ablaze by a discussion about how useful the feature really is, helmed by user WavingBuddy.

“Warzone reporting doing nothing? Rampant uncontrolled cheating, even console players have aimbot now”, reads the title of the post, but it has very quickly devolved into heated chatter about Warzone’s failings on the front of anti-cheats.

“Does anyone else see the ‘your report resulted in a ban’ pop ups anymore?”, continues the post. “Because everyone knows it’s not because cheaters are declining in numbers, they’re exponentially increasing with every passing update. I want to believe these companies are actually putting effort into their game and not just pumping out low effort cosmetic items that no one cares about, however it seems that’s exactly what they’re doing.”

Fans have reacted to this post, and they’re just as unhappy as the original poster.

Fans have echoed the post’s sentiments, insisting that something needs to change with the report function, and some have even suggested that it never even worked in the first place.

“Reports do nothing, and you can only block 200 users”, says Wallis-FPS. “It’s like the game is made for the cheaters.”

Another user threw their own experience into the conversation, saying: “Played 5 games tonight on resurgence. Every single lobby had a cheater in it. It’s nearly unplayable.”

“I was asking myself that too about the ‘Thanks for your report’ messages”, says user pepemiwe. “But yeah, the reports system sucks and Warzone is WORSE. Tried to play a few hours ago and there was multiple hackers in each lobby.”

The report function is in dire need of a scrub-up, as the game isn’t doing enough to keep hackers and cheaters out even at the best of times. A rebuilt report function could be crucial to cleaning up the game, and it’s something that Raven seriously need to consider.
