Spooky Season is finally upon us. It's about time, to be honest. We're finally in the throes of Goth Christmas, and frankly, there's no better time to dive back into some of the horror classics that we've missed over the years.

Plus, with the many incredible reveals from the Silent Hill franchise that came from Konami, and the promise of more Resident Evil content to come, it's truly starting to feel a lot like Halloween. That's how that song goes, right? It's not just us keen for the scares, as PlayStation and Xbox are getting in on the action with some amazing deals on terror titles across the board.

PlayStation is offering some stonking deals this year for Halloween, and if you head over to its Halloween deals page, there are AAA bangers and indie darlings alike. Here's the best deals that Sony are packing this spooky season:

  • Dying Light 2 Stay Human PS4 & PS5 (£32.99 / $35.99)
  • The Quarry - Deluxe Edition for PS4 & PS5 (£44.99 / $47.99)
  • Evil Dead: The Game PS4 & PS5 (£24.49 / $27.99)
  • Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach (£19.79 / $23.99)
  • Cult of the Lamb Cultist Edition (£19.99 / $23.99)
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo Deluxe Edition (£39.99 / $39.99)

If this wasn't enough, Capcom's lauded Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis remakes have both had their prices slashed down to just £8.74/$11.99. Raccoon City has never looked so tempting.

PlayStation might have some bloodbaths under its belt, but that doesn't mean that Xbox doesn't have its own great deals too. Here's the best of 'em on the Shocktober sale.

  • Diablo II Resurrected prime Evil Collection (£24.99 / $29.99)
  • Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Deluxe Edition (£46.89 / $53.59)
  • The Quarry (£38.99 / $41.99)
  • Dead Space 2 (£2.99 / $3.99)
  • Borderlands Legendary Collection (£15.99 / $19.99)
  • DOOM: Eternal (£11.54 / $13.19)

Xbox is also making our blood run cold with Alien: Isolation - The Collection, which lets you experience all the horror of that deep space adventure as Amanda Ripley, as well as seeing Ellen Ripley in action for the DLCs. All of that for just £8.99/$9.99 sounds pretty good to us.

There are plenty of good deals to go around during this time of year, and we're glad to see horror get the spotlight it so deserves this season. Now, if you'll excuse us, we're about to go bankrupt thanks to online stores.
